This 7-day program is a unique opportunity for physicians and other healthcare professionals to train intensively in mindfulness meditation, learn the science and application of mind-body medicine, and learn how to more fully incorporate mindfulness into their lives

This course integrates mindful practices with the science behind the mind’s habit loop. As part of the mindfulness training, you will learn the scientific basis of how we form distracting thoughts that can lead to overwhelming worry and panic, and how we can use this knowledge to change them. You will also learn concrete mindfulness skills to help you become more aware of and gain control over your anxiety, and how to use them on your own time, at your convenience and pace.
Self-guided use of the Eat Right Now app and weekly group-based learning and support classes in-person, at the Center for Mindfulness, are the foundation of this class that integrates mindful practices with the science behind eating habits. Learn skills to help you become more aware and gain control over eating.

January 16 - 30: Befriending Yourself: A Journey in Self-Compassion (In-Person)
Through meditation, individual and group reflection, working in pairs and small groups, class discussions, journaling, and living with intentionality and awareness between classes, we will explore how to interrupt the cycle of self-denigration, self-inflation, and other destructive mindsets. With the cycle interrupted, we will take advantage of the space for clear seeing that arises—to be in wise, tender relationship to our own heart in ways that can inspire us to not take for granted this one precious life.
