Bio

Rebecca has taught mindfulness to cancer survivors, people in chronic pain, medical and mental health professionals, lay ministers, and monastics, and was featured giving meditation instruction in two courses taught by Pema Chödrön: Making Friends with Yourself and How to Live with Compassion and Courage. She now teaches MBSR and MBSR graduate courses in the Stress Reduction Clinic, as well as education programs for teachers-in-training through Oasis Institute. Before joining the faculty at the Center, Rebecca co-founded The Integrative Medicine Community of Hampton Roads in Virginia and served as a hospice volunteer.
