Rando Lab's Carolina Galan awarded Ruth L. Kirschstein Predoctoral Individual National Research Service Award (F31)

Carolina GalanCarolina Galan, a Graduate Student in Dr. Oliver Rando’s Lab, has been awarded a Ruth L. Kirschstein Predoctoral Individual National Research Service Award (F31) by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) beginning in August. Carolina's project, "Replication-independent DNA methylation dynamics during post-testicular sperm maturation", aims to better understand sperm maturation in the epididymis and address factors with the potential to affect fertility.
