Paul Thompson and Jakob Fuhrmann, a postdoctoral research in the Thompson lab, have developed a suite of activity based probes targeting the arginine phosphatase YwlE, a potential antimicrobial target in gram positive bacteria.  The work was published in Cell Chemical Biology along with an associated highlight in the same journal.
