Ashley Matthew was awarded a NIH F31 Scholarship!

Ashley Matthew, an MD/PhD student in Dr. Celia Schiffer’s laboratory, was awarded a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Awards (F31) for Individual Predoctoral Fellows from the National Institute of General Medicine at NIH to support her doctoral research for the project, STRUCTURE-BASED DESIGN OF ROBUST CROSS-GENOTYPIC NS3/4A PROTEASE INHIBITORS THAT AVOID RESISTANCE.  Her work was also highlighted by NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins https://directorsblog.nih.gov/2015/12/03/labtv-curious-about-drug-resistance-of-hepatitis-c-virus/
