The increasing cost of employees' group health benefits and workers' compensation insurance created a demand for a new, high quality, cost effective and consumer driven health care delivery system. In 1996, the Minnesota Health Partnership (MHP) was created to develop and evaluate a health care model that integrates the best elements of general health and workers' compensation medical care. MHP is a broad-based coalition representing state government, business, health care plans and providers. We are pleased to present the key findings of MHP and its Coordinated Health Care and Disability Prevention (CHCDP) model. Below are five briefings related to the areas studied:
