Michael Burdulis, MD - "I thoroughly enjoyed my three years in the UMass Family Practice Residency. There was hard work and long hours, to be sure, but I graduated feeling fully prepared to start a practice. Two of the real strengths came from my health center, Hahnemann. The attendings there were great teachers, both as role models and as direct supervisors. As practicing primary care docs, they were facing the same challenges we were with patient care. Secondly, the responsibility of night call for the health center pushed me to develop triage and counselling skills that are incredibly value to me still."
