Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Registry in a manner that is both legal and ethical. You may not use the Registry to post, transmit, or otherwise distribute unlawful material, including but not limited to unauthorized copyrighted material, defamatory statements or threats.

 You agree to use the networking services offered by the Registry, including the directory, calendar and discussion forums, in a manner that is consistent with the above. You agree that you will not use the networking services to:

  1. post any unsolicited promotional or advertising materials;
  2. use email addresses found on the Registry to transmit any surveys, contests, chain letters, or duplicative or unsolicited messages of any kind that are not legitimately related to the Registry;

Privacy Policy

The Registry and the University of Massachusetts are committed to preserving and maintaining the privacy of visitors to the Registry. Any personal information obtained during any registration process is used to support your use of the Registry only. Usage statistics are collected for reporting purposes. No personally identifiably information is provided to any third party except as required by law or to enforce these terms of use.  We do not rent or sell your information to third parties.

Any personal information submitted to any public area of the Registry web site (which includes, but is not limited to, your profile, message boards, forums and calendars) is available to all other users of the Registry and are not subject to this privacy policy.

Modifications
