Prerequisites:Completion of 3rd year Psychiatry clerkship 
Elective Description: The student will gain comfort in working with deaf adults and in families where one or more members are deaf. The student will gain knowledge about the manner of presentation of mental illnesses in deaf people. The student will understand the background educational, linguistic and social issues which affect deaf people.
