Elective Description: The student will participate in the care of patients with a wide variety of pediatric pulmonary disorders including cystic fibrosis, asthma, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, immuno-compromised lung disease, and pediatric sleep medicine. The student is expected to gain a pathophysiologic understanding of the disease process as well as its social implications.
