Elective Description: The student will learn about the evaluation and treatment of gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders and how to act as a consultant in gastroenterology.
He/she will have active involvement in a teaching hospital gastroenterology service including inpatient and outpatient care. The student will have the opportunity to participate in ongoing clinical research projects and will have the opportunity to see patients under evaluation and treatment at the Center for Management of Liver Disorders. |
