| Elective Description: This elective will facilitate the student’s understanding of common diseases of the skin seen in a private practice setting. The student will have a basic understanding of approaches to diagnosing and treating common skin diseases. He/She will also develop a sense for which patients need to be referred to a dermatologist. |
