Abstract: The Center for Mental Health Services Research of the University of Massachusetts Medical School (CMHSR) will carry out an expanded survey of consumer and family member satisfaction (the Survey) for the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH), conducting interviews with consumers of mental health services and family members of children/adolescents receiving mental health services to evaluate their satisfaction with services operated by or contracted for the DMH. The research design will provide for assurance of adequately representative samples, in large enough numbers, to provide a snapshot at a point in time of the levels of satisfaction and outcomes among persons who receive selected DMH services and their families.
