    Department of Youth Services (DYS) Training: As one of CTTC's main goals to develop, enhance and strengthening the abilities of court and DYS personnel, CTTC is providing trauma training to current DYS staff. This training will be focused on child trauma and the Juvenile Justice System in hopes to increase trauma sensitive care and access to evidence based trauma treatment for at risk and underserved populations.

Child Trauma Training Center (CTTC)

To improve identification of trauma and increase trauma sensitive care and access to evidence based trauma treatment for at risk and underserved populations in Central and Western Massachusetts, including Court-involved children and military families by:

1. Developing, enhancing and strengthening the abilities of

      1. Pediatricians
      2. School personnel
      3. Law enforcement
      4. Juvenile court personnel to
        • Identify
        • Screen
        • Assess for childhood trauma
        • Implement practices
        • Provide appropriate referrals

2. Creation of a Centralized Referral System

3. Providing training to clinicians in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
