Sue-Ellen Lydon-Daddona and her sixth grade class from Waltham's Kennedy Middle School enjoy 5 laboratory tours conducted in conjunction with 1998 National Brain Awareness Week. This was the third consecutive year that the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center (EKS) scientist have opened their doors to local elementary children for this event.

We would like to thank Darlene Butler, Jason Langlois and Elizabeth Bless for volunteering as guides.

Students visit the Electron Microscopy Laboratory where Dr. James Crandallexplains and shows how brain sections are loaded for observation into the Philips 300 Electron Microscope.
