The Medical School has developed an organization to plan and construct these new buildings. This organization consists of The Sherman Center Executive Committee and Subcommittees. Subcommittees will report to the Executive Committee and will include the Research Program Subcommittee, the Education Program Subcommittee, the Student Services Subcommittee, the Faculty program Subcommittee and the Support Services Subcommittee. In addition to the internal Medical School organization, the UMass Building Authority has hired PMA Consultants as the project/program manager. The Building Authority will also hire an architect and engineering firm and a construction management firm to construct the facility.
