We provide male derived H1 and female H9 human ES cells in an undifferentiated state on mouse feeder cells. Both hES cell lines have similar growth characteristics and express the same biochemical and molecular markers.
There is a 3 to 7 day window of colony growth before the cells spontaneously differentiate. To accommodate your experimental design, it will be necessary to use the cells either in this window, or if desired, after differentiation.
Cells can be obtained from our core facility 24 hours after plating on MEFs.
Please read in the Protocol section for working with Human Embryonic Stem Cells prior to placing an order to be prepared for receiving plated hESCs.
Cells will be provided in 6-well tissue culture plates. If a different format is required, let us know.
For in situ studies hES cells on mouse feeders are also available on microscope cover slips.
