Psychology Training

UMMS/UMMMC supports a number of psychology training programs. Its Clinical Psychology Pre-Doctoral Internship Program at Worcester State Hospital has been APA-accredited for over 50 years, as has the Pre-Doctoral Program at Worcester Youth Guidance Center. Post-doctoral training programs are available in Forensic Psychology within Psychiatry, in Family Medicine, in Behavioral Medicine, in Emergency Medicine, and in Neuropsychology within the Neurology Department. A number of centers and units in UMMS/UMMMC also provide opportunities for graduate students in psychology to obtain part-time traineeship experiences.
