Brain Imaging Study for Children with Bipolar Disorder, Mania, and Typical Development
What are we studying?
This is a study designed to evaluate the effect of Vitamin D on children and adolescents with bipolar and/or mania.
Who can participate?
Participants in this clinical research study meet specific eligibility criteria including that they:
- Are between ages of 8 and 17
- Have an IQ over 70
- Be void of metal or electronic implants in the body such as braces or a permanent retainer
- Have no history of claustrophobia, head trauma, chronic medical illness, or neurological illness
How will participants be compensated?
Study participants will receive compensation for time and travel.
