Rotation Projects
-
Goal: To determine if de novo telomere formation blocks recombinational repair of a DNA double strand break. This project involves yeast molecular genetic studies using a yeast strain where an inducible DSB is located adjacent to telomeric TG repeat sequences.
-
Goal: To determine if chromatin remodeling disrupts the folding of chromatin fibers. This project involves assembly of in vitro chromatin fibers and analysis of chromatin folding by analytical ultracentrifugation.
