Dr. Lowry has a particular clinical interest in hematologic diseases and stem cell transplantation, but works with general oncology patients as well.  His research interests are focused on stem cell biology, studying in vivo models of human hematopoiesis in an immunodeficient mouse platform using the NOD/SCID/g_c^null mouse using both normal and leukemic human stem cells.
