Facilities

The UMMS is comprised of a Medical School and a modern 784-bed teaching hospital located at two campuses (University and Memorial) approximately 1.2 miles apart.  The Division of Anatomic Pathology occupies 34,000 sq. ft. of space, which includes 30,000 sq. ft of newly renovated space at Three Biotech housing and state-of-the-art anatomic pathology laboratories, seminar rooms, multiple sign-out rooms with 6 multi-head microscopes, and a very spacious resident room with each desk equipped with individual microscope, computer with internet access connecting to the UMass network, including the medical school library with access to hundreds of online journals.
