WORCESTER, Mass. - Saint-Gobain's abrasives and ceramics operations in Worcester recently made a $100,000 donation to UMass Memorial Health Care's Lakeside Expansion Capital Campaign. The gift will support construction of the new 264,000-square-foot addition to UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus. The project, which will expand and modernize the hospital's emergency services, as well as increase its operating room, radiology and surgical intensive care capacity, is scheduled to be completed in 2005.
