Umass Medical School Lecture Series continues

WORCESTER, Mass. - As consumers become more involved in their own medical care, they need, want and demand medical information delivered in accurate but understandable terms. The University of Massachusetts Medical School's (UMMS's) "mini-medical school" brings faculty together with local residents who thirst for such knowledge.
Mark J. Scharf, MD, associate professor of medicine, will lecture on "Birth Marks to Wrinkles: Using Lasers to Treat Skin," on Wednesday, May 12, at the Hoagland-Pincus Conference Center, 222 Maple Street, Shrewsbury. Dr. Scharf is director of the UMass Memorial Dermatology Laser Clinic, one of the nation's most advanced and complete clinical laser treatment programs
