The Residency Education Program in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School is a coordinated program utilizing the facilities of the Medical School and the University Campus, as well as the Memorial and Hahnemann Campuses and the New England Baptist Hospital.

The duration of the Program is five years, fulfilling the requirements of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. The Program is fully accredited. David C. Ayers, M.D. is the Chairman and Thomas F. Breen, M.D. is Residency Program Director.
