The OFA Newswire facilitates communication with the faculty-at-large at the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS).

Communications posted will utilize to the following criteria:

• Request is sponsored in whole or part by a UMMS department, program or organization (i.e. Student Body Committee).
• Subject matter is appropriate for distribution to faculty-at-large.
• File attachments are not permitted; however, you may provide hyperlinks to online resources.
• Faculty surveys for research purposes are not permitted.

Requests for posting should be emailed to OFA.Newswire@umassmed.edu and include the following:

• Title of subject matter
• Sponsor Name
• Deadline or event dates to be published, if relevant
• 1 to 3 sentences, including any bullets, describing the announcement or event. Note, formatting will be revised to coordinate with the Newswire.
• Link to online resources (i.e. posters or content) for additional information.

The Newswire will be published every one to two weeks, depending on the need to distribute information to the faculty-at-large. Requests should be submitted by 5:00 pm Thursday in order to be published the following Monday morning.
