Tenure Probationary Period (“The Tenure Clock”)
The probationary period of normally no more than 8 years after initial appointment as Assistant Professor on the tenure-track is an opportunity for tenure-track faculty to demonstrate the qualifications for reappointment, promotion and the award of tenure.
