FaCES Evaluation
Purpose
The FaCES evaluation aims to examine whether the program has been successful in meeting its objectives. In its broadest form, the following questions will be answered:
- Are more children in the clinic area receiving mandated screenings than comparable groups?
- Is there evidence that these children have better health access as a result of being linked to the medical system and connected to a medical home?
Goals
The goals of the FaCES evaluation include
- Improvement of compliance with recommended screenings
- Improvement of exchange of medical information during assessment period
- Assurarance of uniformity in assessment, based on risk factors, and referral for children in foster care
- Assurance that all foster care children receive medical case management to improve medical access
- Maintainance of a high level of Foster parent satisfaction
