Project Management

OCP collaborates with community-based organizations, private and non-profit groups, and local and state government agencies on projects to assess, evaluate, and plan interventions to understand and improve community health status and well-being. These project management services help clients implement significant changes successfully.

An Effective Project Management Approach

OCP’s team will define the scope of the project and complete a detailed business plan to assure an approach that meets the needs of our clients. This approach may include:

  • Facilitating discussions to clarify the unique needs of a project and the best solutions based on the needs of the population;
  • Providing training, technical assistance as needed;
  • Designing tools, systems and quality management methods to assure that the project is executed successfully;
  • Encouraging linkages and networking among state, and local program representatives to maximize resources and enhance the development of culturally and linguistically competent systems of care;
  • Analyzing projects for cost, time, scope, risk and quality;
  • Understanding how to utilize the control elements common to all projects to assure maximum results;
  • Assessing the status of ongoing projects and identify options for programmatic change if needed.
