Program Development
The Office of Community Programs (OCP) staff and consultants work extensively with the public and private health care sectors to design, develop and implement creative programs to increase access to health services for underserved populations. Utilizing a variety of strategies to address education, training, manpower and direct service challenges, our staff has the depth of expertise to assist your organization with program development initiatives.
An Effective Program Development Approach
Through the use of our extensive University-based resources, OCP will assess client needs and plan and execute creative programs solutions to meet established objectives. Our staff and consultants offer:
- An in-depth knowledge of community health, public and private health care systems;
- Exploratory discussions and assessment to identify client needs and the most appropriate approaches and that fill the gaps between the actual situation and the desired one;
- The development of detailed business plans which include measurable objectives, cost analysis, service delivery plan and outcome evaluation;
- An ability to bring numerous parties together to foster collaborative relationships and achieve common goals;
- Hands on involvement by our staff, including oversight by senior management from start to finish;
- Ongoing communication and reporting mechanisms.
