UMass Medical School’s office of Community and Government Relations, in partnership with the United Way of Central Massachusetts, sponsors an annual Volunteer Fair in the old Medical School lobby. Dozens of local non-profit agencies participate, spanning the entire spectrum of community need – from health care to education, hunger initiatives to youth development, homelessness to the environment – and many more areas of critical need.
The UMMS community is tremendously generous, and many of our members are already committed community volunteers. If you do not already volunteer but have always wanted to, this fair will give you the opportunity to learn how you may participate. If you are an organization looking to participate in the fair contact us for more details. In this time of overwhelming community need, we are an institution with a tremendous amount to offer, and your participation is truly appreciated.
