Mock Balsamic Vinegar

Ingredients: 

  • ¾ cup red wine vinegar 
  • 1 cup red wine 
  • 1 tablespoon honey 

Instructions: 

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a rolling boil for 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes. Allow the sauce to cool.
  3. Store in refrigerator for up to two weeks. 

Yields: ½ cup
