Date Nut Bars

½ cup unbleached flour
¼ cup whole wheat flour
1/8 tsp. sea salt
¼ cup Canola oil
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
½ tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup rolled oats
¼ cup ground flaxseed

Mix dry ingredients together in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Place in 9X9” baking dish (greased) and bake at 350’F for 30-35 minutes.

Makes 9 bars.
Per serving: 256 calories, 16g fat, 1.4g sat fat, 4g fiber, 4.5g protein.
