GSBS Cares kicks off annual Thanksgiving food drive
November 04, 2010
Volunteers from GSBS Cares, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences Community Service Committee, decorate collection boxes for the fourth annual Thanksgiving food drive, which began on Oct. 29. Donations will be collected until Nov. 24 and will benefit the Worcester County Food Bank, which collects donated food and grocery items and works with partner agencies to help feed hungry people in 60 cities and towns in Central Massachusetts. For more information about the food drive, please contact GSBS co-chairs Jennifer Ziegenfuss (jennifer.ziegenfuss@umassmed.edu) or Carina Clingman (carina.clingman@umassmed.edu), or read the full article.
