New study to use social media to get dog owners out walking

Kristin Schneider, PhD, assistant professor of medicine, talked to the Boston Herald’s Laurel J. Sweet about her community dog walking study that aims to get more dog owners walking their pets and thus, enjoying the benefits of exercise themselves. Dr. Schneider and collaborator Stephenie Lemon, PhD, associate professor of medicine, discussed the strategies they will employ to help dog owners change their behavior, including using social media and community support.
