Nursing Expo April 3 introduces local teens to rewarding career

Info event for students, parents and educators hosts 14 schools at UMass Medical School on April 3

The annual Nursing Schools Expo at UMass Medical School enables high school students interested in careers in nursing to meet admission coordinators from undergraduate and graduate nursing degree programs offered by member schools of the Worcester Nursing Pipeline Consortium. Most of the schools are located in Central Massachusetts.

Attendees will also be able to speak with nursing students, and view a presentation highlighting different aspects of the profession.

Hosted by the Worcester Nursing Pipeline Consortium and the Graduate School of Nursing, the free event for teens and their parents, teachers and guidance counselors will be held on Monday, April 3, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Albert Sherman Center at UMass Medical School.

Visit the Graduate School of Nursing website to view the event flyer, and email Diane.Quinn@umassmed.edu or call 508-856-3399 by Mar. 30 to register.
