The UMass Chan Graduate School of Nursing is hosting their annual Nursing Schools Expo on Monday, April 7.
Supported by the member schools of the Worcester Nursing Pipeline Consortium, the event is an opportunity for high school students, parents and teachers to learn about a range of nursing careers and degree programs.
Experienced registered nurses and nurse practitioners will give presentations about careers in neonatal intensive care; pediatrics; army nursing; forensics, nursing’s newest specialty; emergency nursing; and beyond.
Attendees will also have time to meet one-on-one with admissions officers for undergraduate, post-graduate and military training programs, network and enjoy a buffet dinner.
Free and open to the public, the Nursing Schools Expo will take place from 4 to 7:30 p.m. in the Medical School Lobbies at UMass Chan. A buffet dinner will be served, with RSVPs requested by April 2. For more information and to RSVP, email diane.quinn@umassmed.edu or call 508-856-3399.
