Harr Motor Group will donate up to $50,000 to the UMass Medicine Cancer Walk as part of the Harr Challenge running now through Thursday, Sept 26. For UMass Medical School and UMass Memorial Health Care employees who show a UMass ID, Harr will donate to the Cancer Walk the first car payment—up to $500—of any car purchased, or 5 percent of any repair or auto body service done at Harr. In addition, Harr will donate a dollar to the Cancer Walk for every like or share on the UMass Medicine Cancer Walk or Harr Auto Group Facebook pages.
The 15th annual UMass Medicine Cancer Walk will take place on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 10 a.m., starting on the campus green. All proceeds from the walk support research and care at the Cancer Center for Excellence.
Anyone can donate to the UMass Medicine Cancer Walk by visiting a Harr Motor Group showroom or the Harr Challenge website. Interested walkers can also join the official Harr Motor Group Cancer Walk Team.
