The Office of Compliance and Review is holding a compliance and ethics symposium on Thursday, May 23, from noon to 4:30 p.m., at the Amphitheatre, 4th Floor, 333 South Street, Shrewsbury. All employees are encouraged to attend.
Executive Vice Chancellor for Commonwealth Medicine Joyce A. Murphy will give the opening remarks.
Presentation topics include, “The good, the ugly and the good: Navigating a corrective action plan,” by Massachusetts General Hospital’s privacy and security manager Paula Moran; and “Compliance is good business,” by Leon Goldman, MD, chief privacy officer at Kyruus and former chief compliance and privacy officer at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
