Newsmaker: Green talks West Nile Virus in WBUR blog

WBUR’s CommonHealth blog today highlighted the work of Sharone Green, MD, associate professor of medicine, on the recent spike in West Nile Virus.

 

Green, who is working with other UMMS faculty on a vaccine for the disease, said the dramatic rise in cases could be attributed to climate change and offers some advice on avoiding the illness.
