New UMMS video unveiled at UMass Board of Trustees meeting

Trustees hear of record enrollment across the University

Members of the UMass Board of Trustees, who met at UMass Medical School on Wednesday, Sept. 19, heard good news about record enrollment across the University, and viewed a new video showcasing the people, programs and accomplishments of the Medical School.

In his first full board meeting as chairman, trustee Henry Thomas expressed confidence in the great work of the University. Enrollment at UMass has reached 70,874 students, a record level for the five-campus system. The new figure represents a 1,204 student or two percent increase over the University’s fall 2011 enrollment. Read the full release from the UMass President’s Office.
