Deborah L. Plummer, PhD, professor of psychiatry and quantitative health sciences, has been named to the newly created position of vice chancellor for human resources, diversity and inclusion, Chancellor Michael F. Collins has announced. Previously, Dr. Plummer was the associate vice chancellor for diversity and equal opportunity.

“As associate vice chancellor for diversity and equal opportunity, Dr. Plummer has successfully worked across the institution to provide leadership, strategic direction and coordination of all aspects of diversity and inclusion,” said Chancellor Collins. “She brings extensive experience in human services and has worked with more than 60 national organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, health care organizations and educational institutions, developing effective people strategies that build high performing and inclusive work environments.”
