UMass Medical School is one of seven research institutions in Massachusetts – and the only one outside of Boston – to team up with Pfizer Inc.’s new Center for Therapeutic Innovation collaboration, which was announced on Wednesday, June 8, at the Massachusetts State House. John L. Sullivan, MD, vice provost for research and professor of pediatrics and molecular medicine, explained to the Worcester Telegram and Gazette how the collaboration will benefit UMMS and spark new avenues for drug development.
