Student speakers offer words of wisdom

Three featured graduates share a love of science, medicine and UMass Medical School

One will soon begin his training to become a neurosurgeon in Minnesota. Another is already living in Texas, continuing to study the science of addiction. And the third will soon combine his love of teaching, patient care and addiction treatment as a nursing educator. The three student speakers, representing the three schools that make up UMass Chan, will share their words of wisdom with fellow students and guests at Commencement on Sunday, June 5. Read about these featured graduates, who were either elected by fellow students (School of Medicine) or chosen by their schools’ deans (Graduate School of Nursing and Graduate School of Biomedical Science), in the following profiles:
