On heels of Commencement, UMass Medical School celebrated another beloved annual tradition Monday night, June 6—the Employee Service Recognition Program, which honors employees for their commitment to fulfilling the mission and vision of UMMS. The 33rd annual event took place under the tents on the campus green and recognized milestone years of service. Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Human Resources Officer Ian Barrett, EdD, welcomed the honorees and their guests to the event and Chancellor Michael F. Collins presented awards to employees who were recognized for 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service. Music was provided by Seven Hills Symphony String Quartet and the Shrewsbury High School a Cappella Choir.
