Medical students Seth Curtis, Megan Weeks and Maya Mauch earned top honors at the Senior Scholars poster presentations held at UMass Medical School on May 1. The UMMS Senior Scholars Research Program is an educational enrichment elective for fourth-year medical students in which they conduct up to three months of supervised research with the sponsorship of a research faculty mentor.
While the top scoring projects focused on challenges in primary care, the 25 research projects on display represented all major fields of basic science, clinical medicine, epidemiology and public health.
