Robert Milner, PhD, will give a talk entitled “Team Science: the New Normal?” as part of the Office of Faculty Affairs’ Leadership Speaker Series. The talk will take place on Thursday, Jan. 17, at 12 p.m. in S2-351 and 352. Registration is required and CME credit is available.
Dr. Milner will talk about how research is fast becoming a team activity, driven by the exponential increase in scientific knowledge, the changing demographics of researchers, and the complexity of the problems to be solved. He will describe this changing landscape, and discuss the impact of team science on the training of researchers and on institutional and public policy.
