Continuing a new take on a longstanding tradition that was incorporated for the first time last year, The Last Lecture will be delivered at the 2012 Educational Recognition Awards. Jerry (William A.) Durbin, MD, professor of pediatrics and medicine, who was honored with the lectureship when he was awarded the 2011 Chancellor’s Medal for Teaching at Convocation last fall, will present “Teaching on the wards and clinics . . . Where is that disk?”
Celebrating the educational achievements of faculty from all three schools at UMass Worcester, the fourteenth annual awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, April 10, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Faculty Conference Room.
Chancellor Michael F. Collins and Dr. Durbin talk about the honor and the upcoming lecture in this video.
