Campus open Tuesday; classes to be held as scheduled

The University of Massachusetts Medical School is open and operational for all activities on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. All classes in the School of Medicine, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and the Graduate School of Nursing will take place as scheduled.

All UMMS employees should expect to report to work as scheduled on Tuesday, October 30. UMMS is mindful that the impact of the hurricane may prevent some employees from working as scheduled; managers are encouraged to be as flexible as possible in permitting non-essential employees to use vacation or personal time in such circumstances.
