Neuropsychiatry

UMass offers a variety of training at the interface of psychiatry and neurology, including a six year combined neuropsychiatry residency program and a one year clinical fellowship in Neuropsychiatry. UMass Neuropsychiatry training resources include state-of-the-art EEG, MRI, and brain SPECT imaging facilities; neuropsychologists; an active epilepsy surgery program; a 10 bed inpatient neuropsychiatric disabilities unit; several outpatient neuropsychiatry clinics; and a large neuropsychiatric sciences research program with projects of interest to neuropsychiatry.
